Life Cycle

Life cycle events at Temple Har Zion are conducted by our wonderful clergy team:

  • Rabbi Adir Glick, The Solomon Family Rabbinic Chair
  • Cantor Stewart Figa, The Goldstine Family Cantorial Chair
  • Rabbi Emeritus Victor A. Mirelman (as needed)

Together they strive to create powerful and meaningful Jewish life cycle events for you and your family.

Working within the framework of Conservative interpretations of Halakha, Jewish law, they bring together modern sensibilities and tradition to mark the sacred moments in the lives of Temple Har Zion congregants.

Whether it is to celebrate life or to mourn death, to pray and dance together, or to commemorate and console, we are here for you.

For more information regarding interfaith families and life-cycle events, see our interfaith section in this website or contact our rabbi at rabbi@wsthz.org.

Our clergy may also be available to serve the life-cycle needs of our wider Klal Yisrael, the community of Israel. Please contact our office for more information.

Goldstine Sanctuary, Gottlieb Community Hall (which can accommodate up to 250 people for a luncheon or dinner) and Guralnick Chapel are available for important life cycle events such as:

  • Brit Milah, baby namings
  • B’nai Mitvah
  • Weddings
  • Anniversaries
  • Funerals

Call the Temple Office at (708) 366-9000 for more information about commemorating a life cycle event.
