The WSTHZ Book Club is celebrating Yom HaAtzmat in with a discussion of two novels by Israeli authors: Like Dreamers by American-Israeli author Yossi Klein Halevi and My Promised Land by Ari Shavit.

Like Dreamers was the 2013 winner of the Everett Family Jewish Book of the Year Award for nonfiction. On the list of the New York Times Best Sellers in 2013 My Promised Land won the National Jewish Book Award for History. Read one or both.
